ARCHBISHOP SPALDING FIELD HOCKEY
The Spalding field hockey program has developed into one of the premier programs
in the metro area with an impressive history of achievement and tradition. The 2006
Cavaliers posted their seventh consecutive season ranked in The Baltimore Sun top
15 while advancing to the semi-final game in the prestigious Interscholastic Athletic
Association of Maryland.
Athletes are challenged on a daily basis to advance their skills and develop new
strategies. They learn to balance the yearning for fun with the desire to win while
learning from a dedicated coaching staff. Taking these lessons learned on the field
and applying them to all aspects of their lives.
Representing Archbishop Spalding by wearing the red and white is a privilege earned
through hard work, discipline, and determination. The Cavaliers are a dedicated and
spirited group of student-athletes who prove every day that both academic and
athletic excellence can be achieved.
