Leslee Brady enters her t

season as head coach of the
Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers.  
Coach Brady ranks first on
Spalding’s all time win list with a
career record of 1
29-54-25.

The Baltimore Sun Top 15 during
Brady’s tenure, the Cavaliers have

selections with many of those players named to All-Metro and All State
teams.  Additionally, the Spalding field hockey program produced the
Anne Arundel County
Player of the Year in 2002, and Brady herself was
honored as Anne Arundel County Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2003 as
well as The Washington Post
Metro Coach of the Year.

Coach Brady is a graduate of the University of Maryland with over 25
years of coaching experience. Her additional coaching duties have
included
The Maryland State Games, the National Field Hockey
Festival,
and her selection to coach the Maryland Senior All Star
Game.
She currently serves as the Mid-Atlantic Lead Trainer for The
Positive Coaching Alliance.

ANN ANDREWS
Coach Andrews graduated from St. Mary’s High School and The
College of  Notre Dame where she was a standout field hockey and
lacrosse player.  In college, she was captain and MVP of her team and
was named to the All Southeast squad.

She has coached at Severna Park and St. Mary’s high school and
serves on several committees for both  the National Field Hockey
Coaches Association as well as Maryland’s state coaches
association.  This year she has been  selected to coach Team
Maryland, an all star field hockey team  which will represent our state
at the National Hockey Festival this November.

She is the founder of the Anne Arundel County Youth Hockey
Festival  and spends a great deal of her time giving back and  growing
the sport of field hockey at the local and state level.  She lives in
Annapolis with her husband, Danny, and their three kids.
MEGAN RAINEY
We welcome back another Spalding Alum in Megan Rainey.  Megan
played both field hockey and lacrosse at Spalding and continued to
play both sports at  Washington College from which she graduated
this past spring.  The enthusiasm and energy she brings to the field
along with her knowledge will be a  great addition to our program.  

Megan lives in Arnold and is continuing her education as she pursues
a career in nursing.
JEN RUSSELL
Jen is another Spalding alum returning to coach at her alma mater.  A
Towson University graduate, Coach Russell has been coaching field
hockey and lacrosse since 1991, and currently serves as the JV
coach for both sports.

Jen and husband J. R. reside in Arnold and have two boys, Nicholas
and Spencer.
KAT GARDNER
A recent Spalding grad, Kat is giving back to the sport as an assistant
coach this season for her alma mater.  She completed a remarkable  
four year career at Spalding in both field hockey and lacrosse,
earning all County, all-conference and all state honors in field hockey.
 She also traveled to California for the National Hockey Festival with
Team Maryland.
