At the helm of one of the premier
field hockey programs in the
region with a rich winning tradition,
Leslee Brady enters her tenth
season as head coach of the
Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers.  
Coach Brady ranks first on
Spalding’s all time win list with a
career record of 102-39-23.

Success has become the norm for
the Spalding field hockey
program.  Consistently ranked in
The Baltimore Sun Top 15 during
Brady’s tenure, the Cavaliers have
produced numerous All-County

selections with many of those players named to All-Metro and All State
teams.  Additionally, the Spalding field hockey program produced the
Anne Arundel County
Player of the Year in 2002, and Brady herself was
honored as Anne Arundel County Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2003 as
well as The Washington Post
Metro Coach of the Year.

Coach Brady is a graduate of the University of Maryland with over 25
years of coaching experience. Her additional coaching duties have
included
The Maryland State Games, the National Field Hockey
Festival,
and her selection to coach the Maryland Senior All Star
Game.
She currently serves as Vice President of the Maryland State
High School Field Hockey Coaches Association
and is a lecturer with
The Positive Coaching Alliance out of Stanford University.
STEPHANIE BARCHANOWICZ
A 2000 graduate of the University of Maryland, Stephanie returns to
the sidelines this fall for her sixth season.  Coach B played her college
field hockey for Washington College before transferring to Maryland.  
A Spalding Hall of Fame inductee, she was a four-year member of the
Cavalier field hockey, basketball and lacrosse teams.  Coach B
recently took a position here at Spalding as a faculty member and
resides in Pasadena with her husband, Sean, and their future
Spalding field hockey player, Taylor
.
JEN RUSSELL
JESS KINNAHAN
Jen is another Spalding alum returning to coach at her alma mater.  A
Towson University graduate, Coach Russell has been coaching field
hockey and lacrosse since 1991, and currently serves as JV coach for
both sports.

Jen and her husband J.R. reside in Arnold and have two boys,
Nicholas and Spencer.
A versitile and talented field hockey player who played at Southern
High School and then on to Salisbury University, Je
ss starts her third
season as the JV assistant coach.  Je
ss works for the Department of
Defense and resides in Annapolis.
